DICK'S Sporting Goods

Had a great experience here today, team member Luke helped me around the store so I could get everything I was looking for, I get so confused in sporting goods stores as I never personally got out to sports, so honestly, it was like being on a different planet being in there. But I was shopping for 2 of my teenage sons who like those 5” inseam shorts boys are wearing these days, paired with oversized tee shirts. Dicks had both so my boys will be happy with their new little shorts and big shirts. I love the squeeze bottle I grabbed for myself, only 4.99! I wish I would have bought a few! Then near checkout, Luke suggested the Alani drink in a can, and wow!.. my thirst has never been so quenched. Josh rang me up at the register, he had such a nice smile, and folded the little shirts and big shirts up so nicely, and even offered to help me, a little old lady out to the car, since it was pouring rain. Dicks should be proud of having two amazing young men like this working for them.

Found the shoes the wife and I wanted. However the associates were to busy laughing and cutting up to much to pay attention. To the sweet young lady who was new and busting your butt. Thank you. You did your job perfect I will take 10 of you over all the other associates.

Today I went to purchase my son football cleats. When I made it to the shoe section, I was immediately greeted by Landon who provided EXCEPTIONAL service. I explained that I'm a new football mom and don't know anything about cleats. Landon eyes lit up and explained in great detail the difference in cleats pros and cons. As someone who suffers from anxiety this really made me feel better. This kid is something special and a valuable asset to your company. You'll have earned a customer for life!

I had a really frustrating experience at Dick’s Sporting Goods. I initially waited in line to process a simple exchange. When I finally got to the register, Jackson told me I needed to go to the back and grab the shoes myself. After waiting again in the back for assistance, I eventually got the correct pair and headed back up front, only to find myself waiting in line all over again. What made this worse is that neither Bella nor Jackson made any effort to bring me to the front, even though I had already waited once and was just completing an exchange they sent me to do. There was zero acknowledgment of the inconvenience. After finally getting back to the register, I was then told I had to pay over $10 more for the exact same shoe, just a half size bigger. No explanation, no attempt to help, just more frustration. Overall, this was a poorly handled customer experience from start to finish. I won’t be shopping here again.

This store offers a strong selection of sporting goods, apparel, and gear for a wide range of activities. The floor layout is spacious and organized, making it easy to browse and compare items. Pricing feels fair for the brand names stocked, and they frequently run sales and promotions.
